Josh Muller
From Josh, Jan. 2024:
"For years, DFGC has been a generous supporter of the work I’ve been doing in Turkiye. You have been a big reason I’ve been able to stay on the field for as long as I have, and I’m so very thankful for your partnership over the years. In the coming months, I will be transitioning my main focus from being on-the-ground missions work in Turkiye, to instead be full-time focused on creating tools to see disciples made all over the world. Waha is a discipleship app that is being used by thousands around the world to see mature, bold, Jesus-following disciples raised up and sent out into their communities with the love and power of the Gospel. It’s an app that has hundreds of scripture-based lessons, that teaches new and seasoned believers to Discover, Share, and Obey God’s Word with their communities. In February, I will transition away from my role with ACOP, and will start working full time with Waha as their Head of Localization. Waha has the goal of being translated and fully launched in over 80 new languages (100 languages total) by the end of 2026. My role with the organization will be to lead those 80 translation projects, and to build out the infrastructure needed to eventually see the app made available in 1,000+ languages. On account of this, I really see this new role as being one of transitioning from having a national focus for my ministry efforts (just Turkiye), to now having a very global focus (100+ languages from all over the world)." |
